Citizens' Alternate Route Task Force Visits

Red Rock Crossing Bridge Site

June 24, 1997 at 4:00 P.M.

Children play in Oak Creek as Yavapai County officials begin setting up poles to show bridge height, width and length.

Poles are in position as Citizens' Task Force members assemble.

Task Force members (lower left) contemplate the dimensions of the bridge.

Task Force members view the height and width of the bridge as it spans the Oak Creek flood plain.

Task Force members cross Oak Creek and walk "under" the bridge.

Task Force members gather "under" the bridge to visualize the impacts it would have on Red Rock Crossing and Cathedral Rock.
