News Release

        On November 20, 1996, the Grand Canyon Chapter of the Sierra Club presented a list of 10,541 signatures from around the world, opposing a bridge at Red Rock Crossing, to Sedona District Ranger Ken Anderson.

        Red Rock Crossing Committee Co-Chair Bennie Blake and Craig Dible, Chair of the Sedona-Verde Valley Group, were on hand to make the presentation to Ranger Anderson. It was the culmination of several years of work for Sierra Club members and other friends of the Crossing.
