RESOLUTION NO. 1058

EXPRESSING SUPPORT OF THE E1/E2 ROUTE IDENTIFIED IN THE DIBBLE REPORT, WEST AIRPORT MESA CORRIDOR, AS A VIABLE SEDONA ALTERNATE ROUTE.

WHEREAS, On May 22, 1995, the Board of Supervisors accepted the Dibble Report identifying the D2 route, also known as the Verde Valley School Road/Upper Red Rock Loop Corridor as the preferred route; and

WHEREAS, a report developed by Supervisor Chip Davis entitled "Working Toward a Cooperative Solution," dated April 10, 1997 and revised on April 17, 1997, which, for numerous reasons, identifies the El/E2 route identified in the Dibble Report, also known as the West Airport Mesa Corridor, as being a viable route.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors supports the El/E2 route, also known as the West Airport Mesa Corridor, as a viable Sedona Alternate Route.
